We have raised over $500,000 towards are endowment goal of $1.3 million. So for the very first time, in Spring 2010, ELEF funded teachers' project and program ideas through our endowed funds!  From Wicom drawing tablets to drum sets, from graphic novels to library books, ELEF funds the enriching pieces of a student's education that just might get lost in today's budget cuts.

Endowment dollars exist forever, with only a percentage of the accumulated interest being disbursed; we never spend the principal thus preserving and growing a reliable source of funding!

Guidelines for the 'Endowment Fund Grants' program

Each endowment fund has it's own set of guidelines which have been written specifically by the donor or ELEF.  The ELPS Director of Curriculum is the point person for coordinating district requests for these endowed funds; all grant applications come through his/her office.  The Endowment Grant application process occurs and funds are distributed in each fall.
