Are you a local business owner ready to make a difference in East Lansing classrooms?

ELEF is set to launch a Business Partners in Education campaign, a multi-year program to ally local businesses with public education in East Lansing. The campaign will be led by a group of Founding Partners, with Summit Community Bank’s John Abbot as chairman.

"As a locally owned and managed community bank, we take our community involvement seriously," commented Summit Community Bank President and CEO John W. Abbott. "We believe it's important to give back to the community that supports us. The East Lansing Educational Foundation and the East Lansing Public Schools are truly a solid part of this community." One annual contribution to the campaign supports all eight schools.
